Deep in Love (Taşacak Bu Deniz) returned to TRT 1 on Friday, October 2, with an outstanding second-season premiere, establishing itself as a leading drama of the new television season.
The premiere achieved ratings of 10.10 in Total, 9.44 in AB and 10.36 in ABC1, securing the No.1 drama position across all three key audience groups and ranking as the No.1 program of the day in Total audience.

Following a first season that topped Turkey’s weekly ratings for 31 consecutive weeks, the series has carried its momentum into Season 2. Its double-digit opening in both Total and ABC1 underlines the enduring appeal of a story built on forbidden love, family loyalties and deeply rooted conflict.
A Return That Resonates Beyond Television
The strong ratings were accompanied by a surge in social media conversation. The series generated 147,077 social media posts, a 66% increase over the previous reporting period. Almost 40,000 unique users joined the conversation, up 40%.
International interest was also visible, with Somera tracking more than 9,600 non-Turkish-language posts during the same period. Arabic and English led the conversation, alongside activity in Spanish, Portuguese and other languages, highlighting the series’ ability to engage audiences beyond its home market.
The strong digital response continued after the premiere, with the Season 2 opening episode reaching 13 million views on YouTube in just two days. This builds on an established digital following: the series’ first episode has surpassed 50 million views, while the first-season finale has attracted more than 22 million views.

As new enemies emerge and family secrets resurface, their reunion becomes a fight to protect the life they have finally reclaimed.
