The series premiered on Rai Yoyo in Italy in 2021, achieving excellent ratings. It was awarded the Pulcinella Award and Bologna Children’s Bookfair in 2021.
The hit Italian 2D animation Nina & Olga will be distributed internationally by DeAPlaneta Entertainment worldwide, excluding Italy, Australia, and North American territories, the company announced after signing an agreement with Italian animation studio Enanimation and Australian company Kreiworks.
Based on the books by Nicoletta Costa, the series was co-produced by Italian animation studio Enanimation and Australian company Kreiworks in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi. In its first broadcast year, it won a Pulcinella Award at Cartoons of the Bay 2021 for Best Preschool TV Series and was named Best Editorial Project at the 2021 Bologna Children Bookfair.

Nina & Olga is a preschool series (3-5 years old) full of fantasy, comedy, and adventure, based on the successful book series La nube Olga by Nicoletta Costa, with more than 80 titles published worldwide. The series, whose first season is already available (52×7′) and whose second season (52×7′) will be ready in 2024, stars 6-year-old Nina and her best friend, a cloud named Olga, along with her friends Teo (a boy) and Bigio (also a cloud). Together, they share adventures connecting the worlds of heaven and earth, discovering the emotions these experiences bring, exploring and learning to manage them.
