Inside Content, together with the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, organizes the Semifinal Round of the Emmy Awards in the Short-Form Series category. The selection round will be held at the SGAE, The Spanish Society of Authors and Publishers, in Madrid (Spain), on the Thursday, July 1, after the celebration of the online edition of the international networking and coproduction event of TV fiction series Conecta FICTION.
A jury comprising leading professionals in the Spanish and international audiovisual industry will evaluate the programs competing in the Short-Form Series category. This category includes an original Fiction or Non-Fiction episodic program, with episodes under a half-hour TV time slot. The semifinal process is coordinated worldwide directly by the Academy. The name of the Nominees of each category of the International Emmys will be revealed in early autumn and the winners will be announced in the 49th edition of the most important and prestigious international TV awards in the world. The International Emmy Awards Gala will take place in New York on November 22.
The International Emmy Awards are the most important international award that a television program can currently obtain. The Semi-final Round of the Short-Form Series category has Inside Content and its CEO, Géraldine Gonard, as host for the second consecutive year.

Conecta FICTION is internationally recognized as the epicenter of the co-production of fiction series between Europe and America. The fifth edition of Conecta FICTION will in 2021 have two moments in time: online on June 28-30, and on-site and online on September 13-17, in Baluarte, Pamplona-Iruña, Navarra, Spain.
