Airing during Imagen Televisión’s access prime-time through Monday to Friday, this exclusive K-drama slot is planned to run for at least eight months.

Leading entertainment companies CJ ENM and Imagen Televisión are making a bold push in Mexico, teaming up to launch a dedicated Korean drama slot to audiences across the region.

Airing during Imagen Televisión’s access prime-time through Monday to Friday, this exclusive K-drama slot is planned to run for at least eight months.

This milestone marks a significant step in the global expansion of K-dramas for CJ ENM, as it is the first time a Korean drama slot has been established in Mexico. Notably, all the dramas featured in this slot are CJ ENM productions, showcasing the company’s premium storytelling and well-made content. Viewers in Mexico can enjoy a diverse slate of hit series, including Familiar Wife, Oh My Baby, Mr. Queen, Emergency Couple, Another Miss Oh, and Yumi’s Cells, among others.

“The Hallyu wave in Mexico, in its full cultural scope, is a phenomenon we simply couldn’t overlook. We identified a strong demand for K-dramas that had yet to be consistently addressed—until now. And there’s no better platform than Imagen to lead the way. Our brand identity is rooted in being the viewer’s passport to the world, offering top-tier dramas from Turkey and Brazil. Now, thanks to our partnership with CJ ENM, audiences can also enjoy high-quality K-dramas, airing Monday through Friday,” said Erick Pulido, Content and Programming Director at Imagen Televisión.

“We are thrilled to see Korean dramas gaining dedicated access prime-time exposure on a major Mexican broadcaster like Imagen Televisión,” said Sebastian Kim, VP of International Content Business Department at CJ ENM. “It not only strengthens CJ ENM’s presence in Mexico but also underscores our commitment to delivering well-made content to global audiences. We are eager to continue expanding our reach and sharing the rich narratives of K-dramas with Mexican viewers.”

With this partnership, CJ ENM’s latest move deepens its footprint in Mexico, paving the way for greater cultural exchange through high-quality storytelling.
