Cecilia Gómez, CEO of Ceci G Entertainment & Consulting, announced at Content Americas the official launch of her first feature film produced 100% by Ceci G, in association with Diana Quiroga, Katia Condos, and Luis Lavanda. The comedy No tan viuda delivers a story of empowerment and love.
“It’s a family comedy centered on female empowerment—what else could you expect from a WAWA? It’s an original, beautiful story that follows a woman who is abandoned by her husband and decides to say she’s a widow, not abandoned. From there, she sets off a whole series of comedic situations. Along the way, she meets a real widower, rebuilds her life, and empowers herself. But there’s one small twist: the ex-husband shows up, and she has to make some major life decisions,” Gómez said.
At Content Americas, Ceci G also signed agreements with actors Katia Condos and Jorge Aravena, a highly popular actor in Peru. “Jorge was just the lead in Pituca sin lucas, and earlier in his career he starred in Girasoles para Lucía, probably the best-selling Peruvian production worldwide in the history of telenovelas. So we’re incredibly happy and excited about the launch of our first feature film,” Gómez concluded.
