Cartel Studios International, the newly formed global distribution company with operations based in Los Angeles and London, will be making its MIPTV debut with a diverse slate of premium movies spanning mystery dramas, thrillers and romantic comedies.
In a strategic move to position Cartel Studios International as a top supplier of quality movies for the global TV, Cable and Streaming marketplace, the company is launching 18 titles at MIPTV including:
Deadly Infidelity (A&E Lifetime): After a violent car accident robs Grace of her memory, a handsome stranger enters her life, insisting that they are lovers. As her memory returns bit by bit, the stranger’s story begins to unravel. Grace is forced to fill in the gaps and uncover the truth, suddenly fearing for her life.
Dangerous Snow Day (Lifetime Movie Network): After being fired as an au pair for a rich family, a woman is tormented by a hooded figure trying to murder her. Convinced it’s retaliation from her ex-boss, she must find enough evidence to prove him guilty before it’s too late.
Deadly Girls Night Out (Lifetime Movie Network): After a girls’ night out ends in suicide, Willa tries to uncover the truth behind her friend’s death, putting her own life in danger, even when the signs point to her own father as the killer.
Cheating for your Life (A&E Lifetime): When star student Kaley gets suspicious of a group of underachievers high SAT scores, she unwittingly uncovers a cheating ring…and puts her own life in jeopardy.
Crushed (Tubi): After the legit hottest guy in school likes her Instagram photo, a high-achieving, high-strung high school girl carries out totally cray schemes to get in his pants before the senior class trip ends. But things spiral when her obsession gets out of control.
Romeo & Juliet Killers (Tubi): Joanne Witt has everything going for her – a high-paying managerial engineering job, a custom-built home in upper middle-class, gate guarded El Dorado Hills, CA, and her daughter, Tylar, who she chose to raise as a single mother. But Tylar has grown into a rebellious teen, and Joanne and Tylar’s on-again off-again rocky relationship only intensifies when Tylar secretly falls in love with an older boy, Steven Colver, 19.
