With “a very diverse range of content”, Latin Media Corp was present in Miami for a new edition of Content Americas, where they are presenting their latest Asian titles.

“Our first line of content is Filipino,” Carlos Documet, VP of Sales and Acquisitions of Latin Media, began in a conversation with ttvnews. “We are very strong with the Filipino product, which has been a great job by the sales team and Latin Media in general. It has opened new markets, new territories. At this moment there are 10 Filipino soap operas on the air in the region, an achievement never seen before.”

On this occasion, they are presenting two new telenovelas: La sombra del alma and Nunca dejaré de amarte.

In addition, the group is presenting new Korean content, which also “has a global demand.” Thus, five new series of 24 episodes each arrive from Korea, “from romantic comedies, youth stories and slightly stronger dramas,” the executive explained.

“From India, which also has a great demand in countries like Peru, Chile or the Dominican Republic, we have a new story which is Gulfi, a very peculiar machine that is a singer, a very moving story,” he explained.

“And finally the Thai content, the newest line that we started two years ago,” added the executive. “Soon we will be premiering in Ecuador. This time we have two new titles. One is El ilegítimo and the other is Revancha de amor,” he concluded.
