The executive, who was Calinos’ International Sales Director for Europe and MENA, will occupy the role left vacant by José Luis Gascue
Asli Serim, the international sales director responsible from the Mena & CEE regions, has been appointed as the Head of International Sales of Calinos Entertainment as of January 1st.
Being an outstanding employee of Calinos Entertainment for nearly two decades, Serim experienced various positions at the company. Started as the assistant for Acquisitions & Sales departments in 2004 and became Sales Manager and, later, International Sales Director.
Since 2012, she has been responsible for the growth and reach of Calinos’ content as International Sales Director.
“Calinos is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. In this period of time, we were the main supporter of the women empowerment in the industry and Asli is the image of this support. This is a well-deserved appointment and I believe Calinos Entertainment will have another successful 25 years ahead with the leadership of Asli,” says Fırat Gülgen, Calinos Entertainment’s Founder and CEO.
Graduating from Elmhurst College, IL USA in 2003, Asli Serim holds a BA degree in Business Administration & Marketing and has 20 years of extensive professional experience.
