The Spanish network is already promoting the premiere of the Inter Medya series, which will follow Woman and My Little Girl.
In May of last year the Turkish distributor Inter Medya had announced the sale of its series Bitter Lands to Spain.
At that time, the buyer had not been announced. Until now, because Spanish channel Antena 3 began to promote in the last hours the next premiere of the Turkish drama on its screen.
The promotion thus reveals not only that Atresmedia was the buyer, but that its plans are to broadcast the series on its main channel.
Although they did not announce the schedule, it will predictably be for their prime time to replace Woman, already in its final stretch.
What is confirmed is that the Inter Medya drama will become Antena 3’s third Turkish drama after Woman and My Little Girl.
Produced by Tims & B and broadcast in Turkey by ATV, the series has a total of three seasons.
It stars Vahide Perçin, Murat Ünalmış, and Uğur Güneş, among others.
It tells the story of a legendary love that begins in Istanbul during the 1970s and continues in the fertile lands of southern Turkey, going through the trials of evil, ambition and tyranny. The series asks if love is eternal against the realities of life and tests the resistance of love and the goodness of the human heart amid a series of turbulent events.
It has already been sold to more than 30 territories around the world, including 16 territories in Latin America.
