Specializing in the distribution of animated and live-action content for children and teens, Pink Parrot was present at the latest edition of MipJunior in Cannes, France, ready to present the latest additions to its catalog.
“We’re once again at MipJunior presenting our new titles,” began Begoña Esteban, Head of International Sales and Acquisitions at Pink Parrot Media, speaking with ttvnews at the event.
“We’re bringing two new series: My Brother the Monster, a Canadian-Mexican production from Gasolina Studios and Arcana Studios; and Go Fish, another Canadian production,” revealed the executive.
My Brother the Monster (26 x 11′) is a series that stands out in the current animation landscape for children between 6 and 8 years old. Its unique quality lies in its ability to balance visual and physical comedy with authentic and nuanced emotional treatment, something very few series achieve in this age group.
Go Fish + (26 x 11′) is a 3D animated series ideal for children between 6 and 8 years old. Full of humor, adventure, and endearing characters, the story follows Alex, a brave but inexperienced parrotfish who must lead the underwater city of New Coralton. Along with his group of unique and fun friends, they face daily challenges that combine action, friendship, and leadership lessons, all in a colorful and dynamic setting. Go Fish + is based on a feature film distributed by Lionsgate in more than 120 countries.
“In addition, we’ve also added a film to our catalog: Momonsters, the Movie, based on the series sold in more than 70 territories, a highly recognized IP. The film is very fun, following the adventures of the Momonsters, but this time instead of being in school, they’re on vacation at summer camp,” she explained.
“And we announced that a second film will be in production for Christmas next year,” she concluded.
