Each market of the year presents a new opportunity for Inter Medya to make announcements and reveal new titles, and this edition of Content Americas has not been the exception.

On Tuesday, during the first day of the event, the Turkish group presented its new drama, Heartstrings (Hilos de vida), a captivating drama series designed to captivate international audiences and that Inter Medya will distribute worldwide.

“We are presenting a production of ours called Hilos de vida, which will soon air in Latam as well,” Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales and Acquisitions of Inter Medya, began in a conversation with ttvnews from Miami.

Along with this new development, the distributor is also presenting another recent series, Corazón Negro, which made its debut at the last edition of Mipcancun and has already been sold to Panama. “Very soon we will announce other territories in Latam and Europe,” revealed the executive.

“And we are also presenting our two co-productions, Leylifer with Caracol and Amor y orgullo with MGE, which have been very well received,” she added.

And as an announcement of an alliance could not be missing, the executive revealed a new agreement with TVN of Panama. “We are very happy to be able to announce that TVN of Panama acquired 15 Turkish films that will soon be seen on screen,” she said.

“At Inter Medya we have a very extensive catalogue of Turkish dramas, miniseries and films, with very famous actors in the region. And the fact that slots are opening up in Latam to program films makes us very happy because we have a very extensive catalogue,” she concluded.
