One of the distributors that always hits the markets with great new releases, Inter Medya is once again poised to captivate attendees at LA Screenings with a slate of hit Turkish dramas, led by its newest addition, Eshref Ruya.

With its powerful storytelling, outstanding cast, and high-quality production, Eshref Ruya is poised to become the next big hit in Turkish drama, capturing the hearts of audiences around the world.

“We’re presenting our new title here at LA Screenings, Eshref Ruya, from the producers of Bitter Lands, Valley of Hearts, and El Sultán: Tims&B Productions, one of the most powerful producers in Turkey,” Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Inter Medya, began in a conversation with ttvnews.

“We’re very happy with this drama, because the ratings are a resounding success, and most importantly, it’s number one on social media in Turkey and worldwide,” she added.

Eshref Ruya features a stellar cast that includes Çağatay Ulusoy, Demet Özdemir, Necip Memili, Büşra Develi, Ahmet Rıfat Şungar, Tolga Tekin, and Görkem Sevindik, as well as Macit Koper, a key factor in promoting its distribution.

“The cast is important; I’d say almost 40% or 50% for some countries,” the executive explained. “In the meetings we’ve had, they told us that the actor (Çağatay Ulusoy) is well-known and beloved,” she added.

A NEW CO-PRODUCTION ALLIANCE

Another of the major news Inter Medya has brought to Los Angeles is its agreement with iZen, announced earlier this week. Under the agreement, Zebra Producciones, the fiction brand of the iZen Group, and Inter Medya, will co-produce content for US Hispanic, Mexico, and Spain.

“We are very happy to announce a new partnership with iZen. We will co-produce together for different territories: Spain, US Hispanic, and Mexico; our stories and theirs as well,” the executive revealed.

“It’s a new alliance that will make us even more accessible with diverse and engaging content, thanks to the experience of both iZen and Inter Medya. Some projects are already being selected, but we haven’t started producing anything yet. We are very strong in distribution, which gives them confidence that we can sell that content. And we are also producers, with experience in partnerships with Telemundo, Caracol, and others. The fusion of iZen’s experience and ours is going to be incredible,” she explained.

Finally, the executive highlighted her commitment to miniseries: “We continue to expand our miniseries catalog and have closed a deal for more than 10 miniseries with Exxen, one of the most important platforms in Turkey. We are very happy with this alliance,” she concluded.
