Armed with a catalogue of Turkish dramas, complemented by European series, Eccho Rights made its way to Miami for a new edition of Content Americas, where it displayed its new titles for the international market.

“In this market we are pushing several Turkish titles that we have on the slate,” Barbora Suster, director of Sales and Acquisitions for Eccho Rights for Latam and Iberia, began in a conversation with ttvnews.

“The first is I Am Mother, our title with the most potential and the most power of the weekly series. It is in its second season, so we have enough material dubbed and ready to be broadcast. We have several territories closed. In Latam, for example, it is being broadcast in Colombia and it is doing very well. We can offer it as a finished product ready to be broadcast. That is always an advantage,” explained the executive.

Apart from I Am Mother, the group is presenting two daily titles. On the one hand, Behind the Veil, “a classic drama that, surprisingly for everyone, is getting numbers in Turkey that have not been seen in this type of content for a long time. It was broadcast on weekends and the second season became daily on Channel 7, and it raised the channel to fifth place. This drama is a very strong title for Latam because it is a very classic story that always works all over the world,” said Suster.

“We also have Winds of Love, another daily series in its second season. It’s a romantic story of Romeo and Juliet, two feuding families and their children who end up falling in love. Very classic with an excellent cast, with all the components that everyone likes,” he added.

And from its European short series slate, Eccho Rights is presenting Safe Harbor, “a short series with an excellent cast, with protagonists known all over the world,” and Beneath the Surface, which is aimed at pay-TV platforms and channels “because it brings together the best of two worlds: the concept of a premium short series, with the Turkish component and very well-known actors.”
