The company will showcase in Lille a wide-ranging international lineup featuring titles from the UK, Europe, and global platforms, reinforcing its position as Europe’s leading scripted studio.
Banijay Entertainment has unveiled its premium scripted offering for Series Mania, presenting a high-end slate of dramas from across its global portfolio. With more than 100 titles launched each year, the company continues to position itself as the number one European scripted studio, underscoring its scale, creative strength and international reach.
Among the أبرز titles in the lineup are UK productions A Woman of Substance, Falling and Half Man, alongside streamer projects such as Motorvalley, BOHO and La Nena, from Italy, Belgium and Spain respectively. The slate is rounded out by French series Montmartre and Marie-Line Incognito, as well as a contemporary reimagining of the classic Wallander from Sweden, and the psychological drama My Brother, selected for the official competition in Lille.
“We are scaling innovation, backing talent and investing in new ways to tell ambitious stories,” said Steve Matthews, Head of Scripted, Creative, and Johannes Jensen, Head of Scripted, Business at Banijay Entertainment, highlighting the company’s role in shaping the evolution of European drama.
The slate is led by the adaptation of A Woman of Substance, produced by The Forge, and Falling, written by BAFTA-winning writer Jack Thorne, both for Channel 4. Also featured is Half Man, from creator Richard Gadd, for BBC, BBC Scotland and HBO.
Streamer titles include Motorvalley for Netflix, BOHO for Streamz and La Nena for Atresmedia, the latter based on the Carmen Mola literary universe.
International highlights include Montmartre and Marie-Line Incognito for TF1, as well as the new take on Wallander for TV4 and ARD Degeto. These are joined by My Brother from Filmlance and the political thriller An Anatomy of a Moment for Movistar+, both selected for the festival’s competition.
The official selection also features These Sacred Vows, while the Special Screenings section will present Etty, along with a special 25th anniversary screening of Totally Spies!.
Beyond Series Mania, Banijay Entertainment also teased upcoming releases including the return of Peaky Blinders with two new seasons, as well as Unchosen, Enfrentados and the third season of The Buccaneers, further strengthening its global scripted strategy.
