The general director of the Turkish company spoke to ttvnews at Natpe Budapest, where it’s presenting the dramas Secrets of an Angel and Bahar.

Following a very productive start of the year, with several new titles introduced and international sales, Mistco made its way to Natpe Budapest with two of its star dramas.
“We are happy to be in Budapest which is the most beautiful city in Europe. We are bringing two standout dramas”, Aysegul Tuzun, general director at Mistco, said to ttvnews.
“The first is Secrets of an Angel, which is being broadcast on TRT1. We are very happy with the results in terms of international sales. It is about domestic violence, which is a general topic worldwide”, she said.
First presented at Mipcom 2022, Secrets of an Angel has been a ratings and social media hit since its debut on TRT1. It stars Alp Navruz (Hold My Hand) and Irem Helvacıoglu (Lifeline). The story of a family that moves from Usak to Istanbul, but must deal with a tragedy following the paralysis and death of Cennet (Ayça Bingöl). A letter that surfaces during her funeral drives a rift between her three children. The drama deals with important and current issues, such as domestic violence against women, so its powerful story is prepared to cross borders.
“The second title is our own production Bahar. We completed its production and the series is 140 episodes. We are about to close some deals following the sale in Russia,” she added.
Also presented at Mipcom, Bahar (Kader Oyunlari) tells the story of a young woman who, despite all the darkness that surrounds her, struggles to keep the goodness within her heart. After witnessing the murder of her father, Bahar tries to prove that Aysun, his stepmother, committed the murder. At the same time, the love relationship she is developing with Demir, whom she met shortly before her father’s death, grows day by day, but things get even more complicated when Aysun also becomes obsessively attached to Demir and seems determined to win him over. at any cost.
“We will have three summer series and we will update our friends about our new titles soon”, she revealed.
