The Turkish company’s hit dramas, Hercai and Love and Secrets, were acquired in Angola & Mozambique by ZAP TV.
Present at Natpe Miami, ATV announced its big hit Hercai and successful prime-time drama Love and Secrets (Kimse Bilmez) were acquired in Angola & Mozambique.
Channel director of ZAP TV, Patricia Abreu, said: “We are very happy to have closed this deal with ATV and also excited to bring to Angola and Mozambique such beautiful titles as Hercai and Love and Secrets.”
Content Sales Deputy Manager of ATV, Muge Akar, said: “It was important to enter Angola & Mozambique and also to have business partnership with ZAP TV”.
Hercai has been licensed to more than 20 countries so far. Recent deals of Hercai include Israel, Croatia, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Albania and Spain.
It’s a production by MIA Yapim, distributed by ATV Distribution. TVN in Chile was the first network to air it in Latin America.
It stars Akin Akinözü and Ebru Sahin, and the story mixes ancestral customs from Southern Turkey with the values of a more modern region.
