Armoza Formats, part of ITV Studios, has today announced the commission of CGI-based studio game show format, Family Piggy Bank, in Portugal.
Produced by Fremantle Portugal for RTP1, the local adaptation is set to air Monday through Friday during prime time starting later this summer.
Using innovative CGI-technology, the format comes with a technological hub that creates a prime time, shiny floor studio, and virtual game play movements. The technology will be highlighted in the Portuguese adaptation.
From Armoza Formats and Gamechanger, Family Piggy Bank (60’) brings the unique dynamics of a family dinner to the studio. This fun-filled game show puts one family’s knowledge and trust in each other to the test as they work together to try to fill their Family Piggy Bank. One main contestant with the help of four family members will go through three rounds of trivia. In round one, the contestants will earn money. In round two, they will try to multiply and in the final round, the family will try to cash out their piggy banks. Can the family win the glory and fame or will they shame their family name?
Avi Armoza, CEO at Armoza Formats said: “Family Piggy Bank brings the future of TV and format distribution to your screens. This innovative format uses CGI-technology and puts strong storytelling at the forefront to give channels a sustainable and unique format that is fun for the whole family.”
