Publispei is an independent content production company based in Rome, Italy, with a long history of over 50 years in the industry. They arrived at Mipcom interested in acquiring formats for successful Turkish and Korean series to produce Italian adaptations.

This was shared with ttvnews by Antonio Adinolfi, Head of Business & Commercial Affairs at Publispei. “We want to adapt Turkish and Korean series in Italy because we find that they are very successful in the market, and it’s something that is currently lacking in the Italian television offering.”

The company aims to produce successful international scripts, relying on its solidity and reliability in the business. “We are capable of offering physical production, we can handle executive productions, and we can cover any type of need a foreign company may have in Italy,” he said.

According to Adinolfi, they have a strong interest in the Spanish market and in scripted formats of successful Turkish and Korean series. “Italy has many advantages for production, in addition to the beauty of the country and its cuisine, which is what most people know. We can offer up to 40% tax credit if we’re talking about international co-production. We can provide professional skills in any service work. Likewise, we can offer assistance, and Italy is generally a good country to work in,” he assured.

Publispei has extensive experience producing Italian television series for the Italian market, which have been distributed over the years through various international sales. “Our latest work, a crime series for Rai, Sleeping Nymph, had its first season air last year, and the second season will air on October 28 on Rai. We are already working on the third season for next year. All are distributed internationally by Onza Distribution,” said Adinolfi.
