ttvnews has confirmed the executive will step down from her role as SVP and director of International Production for Latin America in May.
Ana Bond, SVP and director of International Production for Latin America at Sony Pictures Television will be stepping down from her role at the company.
In a letter to staff, Wayne Garvie, President of International Production at SPT, confirmed the renowned executive will leave her role in May.
“Ana has led her team through many challenges in her time at the helm – from Covid to earthquakes and just about everything in between – and she has met them all with calm, determined, good humoured leadership, inspiring our people in Bogota, Mexico City and Miami. Under Ana’s leadership, there have been a number of programming highlights from Rosario Tijeras to Escape Perfecto, and she will be overseeing the delivery of our sitcoms Casados con Hijos and the Mexican adaptation of Mad About You before she departs. This reflects her ongoing commitment to these projects and ensures a seamless transition”, the letter states.
“We shall be saying goodbye to a good friend and collaborator when she leaves, and I look forward to hearing about her future adventures”.
While no replacement has been named yet, Garvie confirmed John Rossiter will be overseeing the recruitment of a new leader for the production business.
Ana Bond joined SPT in 2018 in replacement of Angélica Guerra.
