Four series renewing under the agreement
The Invincibles is a comedy-drama about 4 men about to turn 30 who try to relive their carefree days by making a pact to break up with their girlfriends. The series follows the men and the women in their lives as they struggle to balance their desire for freedom and their need for stability. Ultimately, they all realize that adulthood cannot be put off forever. This series has been adopted in France and Germany.
The Phoenix is a poignant series that follows two lifelong friends with very different temperaments who embark on a road trip following the death of a husband. The series explores the universal themes of grief and transformation.
Anyway is an award-nominated comedy series about the loving, stormy, and genuinely funny relationship between a mother and her two adult sons living in the big city.
Writers Block is an award-winning comedy series about two hapless TV show directors who experience creative failure in the first season of their crime series but are forced to create a second season. Their desire to acquire authentic criminal experiences leads them to hilarity and serious trouble. In June 2023, Gaumont U.S. picked up the rights to produce a Spanish version of the series, which will be shot in Mexico in 2024.
Two new series added to Amuz Distribution’s catalog
El Clan: drama series following Yannick Moreau, a repentant criminal, who lives in hiding under a new identity in witness protection. In the first season, targeted as the future mayor of his municipality, where he organizes equestrian competitions, he has everything to lose if he is ever found.
5e Rang: wife, mother, eldest of five sisters and devoted heiress of the family farm, Marie-Luce has her world turned upside down when her husband, Guy, dies. He is found half-devoured in the pigsty. Was it murder or an accident? This shocking discovery pierces the tranquility of the small village of Valmont, bringing out the best and the worst in everyone.
