Last Monday, the General Manager of América Televisión, Fernando Muñiz Betancourt, announced the launch of “América Multimedia” during an event that included the participation of journalist and writer Andrés Oppenheimer.
“América Multimedia” includes the broadcast TV channel, América Estudios, América Digital and Kapow, the group’s production company that makes series and films such as Envidiosa and Felices los 6, which are broadcast on Netflix and HBO Max, respectively.
Likewise, Muñiz pointed out that, on América Digital, TVGo will be a new platform and will have exclusive content next year. Among the novelties, there is the 2026 and 2030 World Cup.
Muñiz reported that América Internacional premiered on October 15.
On the other hand, he presented other productions such as Master chef, as well as native content for new generations such as Boom.
“It is content that helps us identify with them (Generation Z) and helps us bring them the language they speak today,” said the manager.
In addition, Maki Miró Quesada, President of the Board of Directors of América Televisión, highlighted the innovation and changes that are being made to the channel for its transformation.
