France tv distribution has appointed Alexandre René as the vice president of International Cinema Sales. René holds a degree in digital cinema from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and in international film production and distribution from ESRA.
Alexandre René has had an extensive career in the film industry, working in acquisitions and international sales at Elle Driver, Wild Bunch, and Cyber Groups Studios. In 2017, he joined TF1 Studio as a Senior International Sales Manager, overseeing the sales of feature and catalog films and film and audiovisual remake rights. In 2022, he moved to Newen Connect, where he continues to hold the Senior International Sales Manager position.
Alexandre René will report to Julia Schulte, SVP of International Sales of France TV distribution.
