The executive is leaving his role as president and general manager of the company.

A+E Networks Latin America today announced the departure of Eduardo Ruiz, its President and General Manager, effective January 15, 2026 after over 20 years of service to the company and its partners.

It has been an honor to contribute to the growth and transformation of this organization alongside an exceptional team that has consistently set new standards in the industry. With my unique background and expertise in the entertainment industry, I am ready to begin a new chapter that will integrate traditional media with emerging platforms and cutting-edge digital technologies. I wish the talented team at A+E Networks Latin America continued success as they uphold our guiding principles of Transformation, Adaptation, and Innovation. Their passion, creativity, resilience, and teamwork will undoubtedly drive the company to new heights”, said Mr. Ruiz.

Mr. Ruiz first joined A+E Networks Latin America in 2003 as the company’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was later promoted to EVP and General Manager, and then in 2013 was named President and General Manager of the company. During his tenure, he has worked closely with advertisers to develop innovative strategies to reach their audiences as well as with affiliates to continuously expand the reach and distribution of the company’s channels.
