It is a live streaming platform dedicated entirely to Latino creatives in the United States.
Básico Stream launched this week, ushering in a new chapter of digital entertainment. The first live-streaming platform dedicated entirely to Latino creatives in the U.S. officially kicked off on Tuesday, April 15, with two bold, original daily shows that aim to redefine how Hispanic audiences connect, express, and get entertained.
Created by Adrián Santucho, Leo Lavazza and Alejandro Pimentel, Básico is an entirely new format. All programming is produced in Spanish and designed to elevate diverse voices through a stripped-down, raw, and refreshingly authentic storytelling approach. It’s the most ambitious and forward-thinking concept to emerge in the Latin TV space in over a decade.
“We’re not just launching another digital channel — we’re building a home where our community can be seen, heard, and celebrated. Live, unfiltered, and unapologetically Latino,” said Adrián Santucho.
The debut episode, part of a show called Lo dije o lo pensé, brings together four powerful Latina voices: a Mexican, a Venezuelan, an Argentine, and a Colombian-American woman. Their chemistry is undeniable as they dive into honest, unfiltered conversations about everything from identity to relationships to culture—reflecting the rich diversity of our community in a way we rarely see on screen.
Following that show is Y llegamos tarde, which features a balanced cast of content creators and radio hosts from different backgrounds. Like everything under the Básico umbrella, this series embraces honest storytelling, thoughtful humor, and meaningful representation.
Básico isn’t just a content brand—it’s a movement to reshape how stories are told and who gets to tell them.
