The new generation of audiovisual content creators is bringing innovative proposals to Content Americas through Flixxo, a free micro-series streaming platform launched in 2020. Flixxo aims to promote 3.0 content developed by independent creators who captivate audiences where the traditional industry may be losing ground.
Adrian Garelik, CEO of Flixxo, told ttvnews that its presence at Content Americas, beyond being intended to present its content, is a bit to “educate the industry” about this movement of new creators, which brings excellent value to platforms and television channels.
“While we have our productions and those of third parties that we are bringing, we also want to educate the industry and begin to open the door for a new generation of creators, and the proposals that they are bringing that are very valuable and bring a lot of value to all platforms,” said Garelik.
According to Flixxo’s CEO, they came to the event to show their proposal supporting digital creators and show a little of what is happening there. “Creators 3.0 are producing, financing themselves, and building community in a very different way than the traditional industry, and also reaching audiences that the traditional industry is having a hard time reaching,” he said.
