Offering inspiring and creative content worldwide, AcunMedya took part of Mipcom 2022 to introduce its original formats, dramas and adaptations of phenomenon shows to the world.
The Turkish company, with its success of expanding its broadcast to 14 territories, was present at Cannes in spectacular fashion, with a beautiful stand which showcases the reality competition, Exatlon.
AcunMedya hosted a spectacular event on the second day of the fair, October 18. Participants had a chance to enjoy the beautiful Cannes with the dynamic and innovative spirit of Exatlon. The participants came together with the international professional team of AcunMedya.
In Cannes, AcunMedya highlighted its original sports-reality format, Exatlon. While Exatlon is being broadcasted in many countries such as Mexico, U.S.A., Hungary, Slovenija, the media mogul Acun Ilıcalı, founder of AcunMedya, underlined that AcunMedya’s original format Exatlon continues to keep its competitive spirit alive in new countries each year.
“Exatlon has been in the world the past five years and has been successful in all the countries where it’s been on air,” said Acun Ilıcalı, the company’s founder, to ttvnews. “It’s a sports reality show, that combines sports with reality. Its football for women, because it has elements of a simple race, plus reality. In Exatlon you can see parkour style of games and it’s easy to follow and entertaining to watch. It’s one of a kind.”
“Our production happens in the Dominican Republic, with 2000 people there, we are making production for 15 countries. We are one of the biggest production companies in the world,” he added.
In Mipcom 2022, participants also had a chance to be informed about the innovative reality production hub, ACM Production Hub. ACM Production HUB stand out with its capacity of turnkey production services, with delivering the content ready to broadcast executing every step.
