For the event, the Company bets on titles such as Never Give Up and The Others
Globo arrives at Content Budapest, an event that brings together major audiovisual brands from Eastern Europe, showing the diversity of its portfolio, which ranges from great dramaturgy classics to series and documentaries. The company also takes novelties such as The Others, Globoplay Original series, and the telenovela Never Give Up, on air at TV Globo since January.
Among the Globoplay Originals highlighted at the event is the telenovela designed and developed for streaming All the Flowers, created and written by João Emanuel Carneiro (Brazil Avenue), and the series Rensga Hits, Under Pressure and Where My Heart Is, the latter two nominated for the International Emmy for Best Actress, with Marjorie Estiano and Leticia Colin, respectively.
As for telenovelas, Globo bets on productions written by Rosane Svartman: Never Give Up, currently on air in Brazil, as well as A Life Worth Living and Total Dreamer, which have already won over several audiences internationally. Another highlight is Pantanal, an audience success shown in Globo’s prime time in 2022, which has already been licensed for more than 100 territories.
“We reach more than 100 million people a day in Brazil and our productions are in more than 140 countries, which shows how our stories speak to different audiences. The variety of our portfolio includes light plots, such as Never Give Up and We Are Five, but we also have children productions, series, and documentaries such as Flordelis: Doubt or Worship and extremists.br. We want to show this diverse content to the European market to engage more audiences”, observes Guilherme Jordão, Content Distribution & Partnerships.
Dramaturgy classics won’t be left out of Content Budapest either. Hits like The Clone and Brazil Avenue -Globo’s best-selling international productions- are some of the company’s highlights at the event.
