The Turkish distributor is present in Los Angeles with a slate of Turkish contents, led by the series Sultan and Khan, and Limit.
Turkish distributor Raya Group arrived at LA Screenings Independents 2023 with a slate of new Turkish titles for the international market.
“We are presenting Turkish series and feature films,” said Ozge Tinaz, Sales Manager for Latin America at Raya Group.
“In this market we have Sultan and Khan and we are launching the second season”, she said.
Produced by Bozdağ Film and broadcast on ATV, Sultan and Khan is based on the era of the ruling of Khwarzmshahs and the Mongol Empire. While Genghis Khan’s attack on the Chinese Empire is underway, his gaze also turns towards the lands of the Khwarazmshah. At the Khwarazmshah throne sits Sultan Alaeddin, although most of his military forces swore allegiance to Türkan Hatun, the Sultans’ mother.
“We also have a new title, a miniseries called Limit,” she added. The 13 episode miniseries, produced by Han Medya, follows a group of high school students who embark on a school trip and their bus rolls down a cliff.
