The Turkish distributor brought to Cannes quality content like dramas Farah and Twisted Lives, and the Canadian crime series Indefensible
Calinos Entertainment well-known quality Turkish content is a highlight at Miptv 2023, with titles like Farah and Twisted Lives, that are being introduced alongside a fresh genre for the company: the Canadian crime series Indefensible.
“We are presenting three new titles, one of which is Farah, about an Iranian woman who is fleeing to France, but on her way she stops in Istanbul and finds out that she is pregnant,” details Asli Serim, International Sales Director for Calinos Entertainment. “She remains in Istanbul illegaly and then the story gets very complicated”.
“The other one is Twisted Lives, which has a very strong cast with drama action and romance,” she adds.
Twisted Lives is lead by Timucin Esen (Korkmaz) and Sevket Coruh (Iskender) and follows tow best friends that will become fierce enemies because of the love for their children.
“The third title is a very successful Canadian crime series called Indefensible,” says Serim.
Indefensible, a Pixcom and Quebec Content production, has two very succesful seasons in Canada’s TVA.
