The new Spanish version will fronted by popular actor, comedian and presenter Arturo Valls, and be produced by his company Polvora and with Lacoproductora, in partnership with Universal Television Alternative Studios.

NBCUniversal Formats, part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group is expanding its global hit franchise, That’s My Jam, with a brand new Spanish adaptation for Movistar Plus+.

This adaptation will see popular Spanish actor, comedian and presenter Arturo Valls (The Masked Singer) front the series.

Valls’ production company Polvora will co-produce the Spanish series with Lacoproductora, in partnership with Universal Television Alternative Studios (UTAS), a division of Universal Studio Group.

The original NBC version of That’s My Jam hosted by Jimmy Fallon is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS), in association with Fallon’s production company, Electric Hot Dog. Season one reached more than 250 million views across linear, digital and social platforms with a highly anticipated second season scheduled to launch on NBC on March 7.

That’s My Jam Spain joins five other international versions of the hit series, with NBCUniversal Formats overseeing adaptations in Italy, Germany and Mongolia, following recent success in the UK and France.

The UK version hosted by BAFTA winning comedian Mo Gilligan, became BBC One’s #1 new unscripted entertainment launch on the channel in 2022 amongst Diverse Viewers & A16-24. The series is produced by Universal International Studios’ Monkey, in partnership with UTAS.

The format has also been previously adapted in France for broadcaster TF1. Entitled Stéréo Club, two specials aired last summer fronted by popular host Camille Combal (Dancing with the Stars).

That’s My Jam was recently named ‘Best New Format’ at the Realscreen Awards and also picked up the ‘Best Studio-Based Format’ award at last year’s C21 International Format Awards.
