Lia, My Husband’s Wife, the local version of the hit Turkish drama premiered this week on Antena 1 and will be distributed by Global Agency.
Never Let Go, one of Global Agency’s hit dramas, has been adapted to Romania with the local name Lia, My Husband’s Wife and started to be aired at prime time on Antena 1 from January 12. The drama will be distributed by Global Agency.
Ana Bodea, Ştefan Floroaica and Ioana Blaj lead the cast of the drama. Ana Bodea makes her debut as an actress in the role of Lia, while Ştefan Floroaica, Exathlon semi-finalist and multiple medalist at the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu National Championship, plays Petru. Actress Ioana Blaj is known to viewers from her roles as Iza (Fructul Oprit), Irina (Sacrifice) and Rodica (Adela).
Ana Bodea is a graduate of the I. L. Caragiale National University of Theater and Cinematography and a former ballerina who graduated from the Ballet School of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. She plays the part of Lia, a 20-year-old woman and the daughter of a teacher who, following the loss her father, is forced to give up her biggest dream of attending the famous ballet school in Moscow. Without any other support, Lia decides to go and live with her only relative, an aunt who works on the Vornicu estate. There she will meet Petru.
Lia is produced by Dream Film Production, specialists in the creation and production of television series, TV shows, commercials, videos and online content. It is a sweeping love story about a man and two women who are drawn to him like moths to a flame. It has the hallmarks of a classic drama series, with story lines that combine revenge, tragedy, passion and love with contemporary subjects.
