The Turkish production and distribution company, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is present at MipCancun 2022 with five new dramas and a focus on LatAm, Hispanic and Anglo US markets.
The production and distribution company Inter Medya is another of the big players that are present at the ninth edition of MipCancun, an event that is taking place, from November 13 to 16, at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun.
On this second day of the event, Inter Medya is carrying out its screening in which it presents five new Turkish dramas for the markets of Latin America, the US Hispanic, and now also for the Anglo US.
“For Inter Medya, a market like MipCancun is very important because it gives us the chance to be with friends and partners from Latin America who can’t go to markets like Los Angeles or Miami,” Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales, told ttvnews. and Acquisition of the company.
Furthermore, this is not just another year for Inter Medya, but rather a very special one, as the company is celebrating its 30th anniversary. “We are really happy and proud that we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. For Cea Okan, the company’s international sales manager, this has been a great year for Inter Medya, not only for reaching its first 30 years in the market, but for other achievements.
“This year has been a success. We have closed an alliance with Telemundo to do co-productions in Latin America. We have a lot of content; the library is getting bigger and bigger. We have a lot of movies too. Also, Inter Medya has opened an arm with which we are doing our own productions for OTTs in Turkey, Inter Yapim, and we are doing our productions in Turkey at the moment. It has been an incredible year”, she concluded.
The company also held its screening in Cancun where it presented the dramas Deception, Poison Ivy, Another Chance, The Girl of the Green Valley and Hircan, among others.
