The event, organized by C21 International, will offer benefits to companies and delegates who had already prepaid reservations for Natpe Bahamas 2023
January 2023 is proving dynamic. After Natpe canceled the event in the Bahamas and Discop confirmed its own in Miami, C21 International has announced that it will hold the Content Americas event, from January 24 to 26, at the renovated Hilton Miami Downtown.
C21i, what is in negotiations to acquire Natpe since the news of its bankruptcy? The early bird rate for the event is $399 (a 60% discount), while delegates with a paid reservation for Natpe Bahamas will be able to obtain a complimentary accreditation.
At the Hilton Miami Downtown, delegate rooms will cost just US$240 per night.
“We’ve moved fast to offer a well-organized and creatively scripted alternative to Natpe Bahamas,” said David Jenkinson, Editor-in-Chief and Managing Director of C21. “Content Americas will provide the best opportunity for the international content business to reconnect in Miami in 2023 and beyond.”
“While we have not yet completed any acquisitions of Natpe’s assets, we hope this can be accomplished in the coming weeks and as a statement of intent to the industry, Content Americas will be working with all exhibitors and delegates who planned to attend Natpe Bahamas to facilitate display and registration solutions, regardless of the result of the purchase of the brand. Of course new clients are also welcome,” he added.
The event opens its registration on the afternoon of January 24 and then will have two full days -26 and 26- of conferences and marketplace.
“Content Americas will provide multiple opportunities for companies looking to reconnect with the global industry, and a conference program in Spanish and English that will delve into key business trends,” says the organization.
The organization also announced that Wayneston Harbeson and Charlie Weiss will join the team next month to “oversee the operations and sales of Content Americas.”
These will have the support of Cveintiuno’s Director of Business Development, Fabricio Ferrara, and the C21 London team. Isabella Márquez has been hired as a consultant for the event.
