The Brazilian giant will present its original series at the event in Madrid on Wednesday, September 28 at 5:30pm.
On the 28th, at 5:30pm (Madrid), Globo will present the first episode of Unsoul at Iberseries & Platino Industria, an event for the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking American, Spanish and Portuguese audiovisual industry.
In its second edition, the Iberseries will happen in Madrid between the 27th and the 28th of September, and have great names of the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking cinema and television in attendance.
Released in 2020, Unsoul has two seasons with ten episodes each. Written by Ana Paula Maia and directed by Carlos Manga Junior, the series has stars such as Cássia Kis (Iron Island, The Party), Claudia Abreu (Wounded Past) and Maria Ribeiro (Empire) in its cast.
In the story, three women are marked by transformations and losses, some of which are beyond repair. It all starts with the disappearance of a young woman during the traditional party of Ivana Kupala, an event that shocks the population of the small town of Brígida, in the countryside of southern Brazil. After the tragedy, the celebration is excluded from the town’s events calendar. Thirty years later, the population is ready to bring the party back, but enigmatic incidents start happening, frightening the community.
