The Fremantle format will premiere on the Hispanic network on October 2 under the local title ¿Qué dicen los famosos?
Telemundo announced the premiere of ¿Qué dicen los famosos?, a new Spanish-language adaptation of one of TV’s most popular game shows, Celebrity Family Feud, starting Sunday, October 2 at 7pm/6C. Hosted by the talented actor and producer, Rodrigo Vidal (Loli’s Fate, Top Chef VIP), the show will feature two teams, made up by a renowned celebrity and their family members or friends. To win the game, each team will have to answer trivia questions about everyday life and try to match the answers previously provided by 100 U.S. Hispanics. All teams will be playing for funds to be donated to charity.
“We are thrilled to present this highly successful format and to continue offering the best in family-friendly entertainment during our Sunday prime-time with the debut of ¿Qué dicen los famosos?,” stated Ronald Day, President of Entertainment and Content, Telemundo. “We are so happy to have Rodrigo as host of this show. He has won the hearts of our viewers with his charisma and wit on shows such as La Suerte de Loli and Top Chef VIP, and we are sure he will continue to captivate audiences in this new role.”
¿Qué dicen los famosos? is an amusing quiz game show that seeks to uncover the most popular answers to questions posed to 100 people. The competition starts off with the celebrity from each team facing off against each other on the first question. Whoever guesses the most popular answer will take control of the game. The goal is to uncover all the answers on the board to get the points. After three wrong answers, the opposing team has a chance to steal the game and earn the points. The team that accumulates the most points becomes the winner and continues on to play Fast Money, where two of its members must collect 200 points to win funds for a charity of their preference.
“I feel very happy with the opportunity to host this game show that offers the opportunity to bring the family together, and especially for viewers who have welcomed me with open arms,” said Vidal. “Having the opportunity to be myself and entertain people is a wonderful gift.”
Rodrigo Vidal is a versatile artist and entrepreneur whose career in the entertainment industry spans more than three decades. Recently, he was challenged to show off his culinary skills on the hit cooking competition Top Chef VIP, an experience where his positive attitude and infectious personality won the hearts of his fellow cheftestants and TV viewers.
