The event continued in full force, with the screening of the series Stop Nyqvist by Yle Finland, with the presence of its stars, and new content showcases by the companies present, followed by the party sponsored by Kanal D, which presented the series Three Sisters.

At the end of this new day of Natpe Budapest at the traditional Intercontinental Hotel, the event continues to leave good impressions among attendees, which confirm the need to recover a networking space to grow in the Eastern European markets.
For many companies, this has been their first experience at this market, as is the case of Saran Studios, a company with a long history in the world of media and entertainment, but which is strongly committed to expanding its distributor arm. This is how Sera Kaynak, Acquisitions and Sales Executive of Saran Studios, explained it: “We have been in the market for many years, but without a doubt it is the first time that we have presented ourselves in this way, with a lot of brand presence, the suite at the event, and I am looking forward to meeting again after so much time with our clients”.
The TRT team, also present with its own suite at the hotel for the first time, explains that it is a commitment to “take back the sales of our international catalog”, as Gokce Aydogdu, sales executive of the TRT, explained.
In short, there are several new attendees on the show floor and in the suites, including companies such as Polish public television TVP, ABC Japan, Yes Studios Israel and Leonine Germany, in addition to those already mentioned.
Among the presentations, the range of content from the Turkish companies present at the event stands out, such as ATV Disitribution, Calinos, Global Agency, Kanal D International, Inter Medya, MADD Entertainment, Mistco and TRT.
Among the trends, a return to interest in drama series stands out. Such is the case for TelevisaUnivision, which, as Claudia Sahab explains, “is presenting La Herencia and Los Ricos Tambien Lloran, content with which we are doing very well because we also see a market that once again shows a great appetite for long-running classics.”
In addition to TelevisaUnivision, several Hispanic companies made their way to Budapest, including Atresmedia Television, Caracol Internacional, Dori Media Group, Filmax, Mediterraneo Mediaset, Movistar+, Onza Distribution, RTVE and The Mediapro Studio.
Among those that are returning to the market, there are also several studios, such as A&E, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal Global Distribution and Paramount Global Content Distribution which, in addition to exhibiting, have been hosting different screenings in the hotel and in local theaters. This is the case of YLE Finland, which presented, as we already mentioned, its long-awaited series Stop Nyqvist.
JP Bommel, president and executive director of Natpe, said he is satisfied with the result of this new edition, highlighting the “more than 350 registered buyers and more than 200 sellers”.
Finally, among the international pavilions, the Spanish presence stands out through ICEX, or the Türkiye pavilion, which has the support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Ukrainian pavilion organized by the Natpe organization itself.
