Star+ announced the start of filming for the fourth season of Impuros, the Brazilian series from the Star Original Productions label.
The new episodes are scheduled to premiere in 2023 on the streaming platform.
Filming is taking place in Montevideo, Uruguay, and in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
In the new season, Evandro do Dendê (Raphael Logam) continues his ambitious expansion into international drug trafficking and keeps looking for new opportunities. The business abroad and his rise as the leader of Rio de Janeiro’s traffic collide, more and more, with his family problems. The more he wins, the more he loses everything.
While Evandro tries to get closer to his mother, Arlete (Círia Coentro), Geise (Lorena Comparato), upset with her husband’s false promises, begins to take the initiative in business outside of Brazil. The policeman Víctor Morello (Rui Ricardo Diaz) persists in the incessant persecution of his rival, while he must deal with the escape of his daughter Inês (Karize Brum), which will bring him new personal and professional challenges. The dispute over traffic control and Ouro Branco is even more fierce.
The cast of Impuros also includes André Gonçalves (Salvador), Sergio Malheiros (Wilbert), João Vitor Silva (Afonso), Cesar Troncoso (Neves), Nicolás Furtado (Navarro) and Leandro Firmino (Gilmar), Gilray Coutinho (Burgos) , and the entire first three seasons of the series are available exclusively on Star+.
The fourth season of Impuros arrives exclusively on the platform as part of its original content offering created for Latin America, which includes locally relevant stories in a wide variety of genres for adult audiences.
