The talent show’s second season premiered on TF1 on July 16 to 3 million viewers and a 30% share.
On Friday, July 16, TF1 in France premiered the second season of Good Singers, the talent competition format distributed by Global Agency.
And the results couldn’t have been any better: the debut reached 3 million viewers and a 30% share for the commercial demo of the hit show.
Created in 2013 by Izzet Pinto (CEO of Global Agency), Good Singers (formerly marketed under the name Is That Really Your Voice?) puts a spin on talent shows by proposing that the jury discover the best singers based only on their appearance and how they speak.
Thus, the show is defined as a “comedy mystery game show” in which the two teams of judges must choose the best singers among 12 participants, many of whom are really talented and others are not.
The show premiered its first season in France in August 2020 and was renewed for a second season last May.
The first season premiered for 3.2 million viewers, an increase of 40% compared to the results obtained by the channel in the same time slot the previous week. The show also achieved good results in key demos in France, with 18.2% in 4+, 30% in F50, 26% in 25-49, 40% in 4-14 and 32% in 15-24.
It was also the leader in comments on social networks, being the first trending topic in the country.
