SOMOS Productions and Argentina’s Onceloops announced today at Mipcom the coproduction of a new series: Maleducadas (Spoiled).
The 15-episode youth series is based on a story that combines elements of generational rebellion, mystery and individual search within a musical framework.
SOMOS Productions (chaired by Luis Villanueva) and Onceloops (led by Sebastian Mellino) are two production companies that have been characterized by delivering successful musical and drama episodic content. These elements are combined in Maleducadas.
The series is the story of four young girls, united because their parents don’t allow them to follow their biggest dream: their love for music. After having problems in school, Gegé, Majo, Cony and Jazz are sent to a camp to discover their spirituality and find themselves; however, the camp is a dark place where danger and mystery are hidden in every corner. The girls face experiences meeting friends and uncovering secrets.
They are different persons, but united by a common feeling: the love for music. This love for music will be the true element that connects the girls with the most important values: the importance of dedication, friendship and love, and will lead them to a musical contest where talent will be the deciding factor for participating bands to win.

SOMOS Productions has been characterized by its success in series such as Hasta Que Te Conocí (along with Disney Media Distribution Latin America, IGSFA Management and BTF Media), the production of live music shows on US television, youth dramas and other genres. The company is currently producing the series Súbete a Mi Moto (in conjunction with Pinolywood Studios and Endemol Shine Boomdog), which tells the story of the band Menudo.
Onceloops is a successful Argentine production company which has developed, among other projects, Go! Vive a tu manera, along with Kuarzo Entertainment Argentina (first Infant-Youth Musical and Netflix Original). Onceloops was part of the production of Wake Up with no Make Up (together with E! Television and Coca Cola TV). In music production, Onceloops has worked with international productions such Violetta, Soy Luna for Disney and for other cable channels such as Nickelodeon and Fox, among others. It is also the leading producer in Realities related to music.
