The virtual edition of the Kidscreen Summit will feature the participation of 12 Spanish animation companies under the Animation from Spain umbrella, which is also launching its Who is Who 2021 Guide.
ICEX Spain Export and Investments, in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Office of Miami, is organizing the Spanish participation in the Kidscreen Summit, which will be held in virtual format between February 8 to March 5, 2021.
Under the umbrella brand Animation from Spain, the virtual space will feature the participation of 12 Spanish companies: Anima Kitchent, Arait Multimedia, Birdland Entertainment, Brands & Rights 360, El Recreo Studio, Futurum Animation 2020, Hampa Studio, Koyi Talent, Peekaboo Animation , Tomavisión, We Love Animation, Zinkia Entertainment. In addition, representatives of promotional organizations from the Canary Islands will be present as well.
In the first week of the Kidscreen Summit, meetings and networking activities will take place (pitch sessions, “coffee with”, “cocktail with”, quick networking, etc.). Then, over the next three weeks, the event will offer a live conference program that will also be available on demand until the end of March.
Animation from Spain has been participating in KidScreen Summit for 10 years, and in this online edition it will have a virtual space to give Spanish companies greater visibility. In addition, it will have five meeting rooms that companies can use to hold virtual meetings with more than two participants.
The event, which is usually held in Miami, received in its last edition some 1,800 attendees (of which more than 475 were buyers and 900 producers or distributors) from more than 50 countries.
WHO IS WHO GUIDE BY ANIMATION FROM SPAIN 2021
As every year at this time, and coinciding with the first international animation event Kidscreen Summit, ICEX is publishing the updated edition of its guide dedicated to companies in the animation sector with a clear international vocation.
The guide offers information on companies and their projects and a detail of the different tax incentives available in Spain for national and international productions and co-productions.
