Divinity, Mediaset Spain’s niche network, announced new Turkish dramas for the new season, including Eccho Rights’ My Home, My Destiny.

Divinity, Mediaset Spain’s niche network, announced through its social networks a long list of new Turkish dramas for its screen.

And among them is My Home, My Destiny, a series produced by OGM Pictures, broadcast in Turkey through TV8 and distributed internationally by Eccho Rights.

Starring Demet Özdemir and İbrahim Çelikkol, the series also has Onur Güvenatam as executive producer, responsible for hits like Netflix’s The Gift and The Protector and Wounded Love (Kanal D) and A Part of Me (Star TV).

The series tells the story of Zeynep, a girl born into a humble home with few opportunities. Her luck will change when the wealthy family where her mother works as a cleaner offers to adopt the girl. Years later Zeynep becomes an intelligent, educated and beautiful young woman who will marry a man of high society.

However, Zeynep decides to return to her birth home, where she rediscovers various lessons and surprises and meets the love of her life.

Another new title is Love Is In The Air, by MF Yapim and Medyapim and distributed by Madd Entertainment, which premiered on Fox this summer.

The romantic drama has dominated Wednesday nights ever since, with top ratings across all demographics, including an average 18% share in the coveted +20 ABC1 segment. The series reunites an unlikely couple who initially hate each other, but must pretend to be a couple. This drama is a perfect love story.

It stars Hande Erçel, Kerem Bursin, and Bige Önal.

Divinity also made the surprise announcement of the acquisition of Sweet Revenge from Kanal D International.

Starring the well-known Furkan Andic and Leyla Lydia Tugutlu, the drama tells the story of Pelin a beautiful, intelligent girl, with an excellent job and about to marry the man of her dreams; a perfect life. But when Tolga, her boyfriend, leaves her at the altar, everything seems to fall apart. One day, on the street, a woman tells her that her bad luck in love will not change until she obtains the forgiveness of the people she has hurt.

Pelin remembers Tankut, a very shy classmate from college who was in love with her, and who Pelin took advantage of. When Pelin finds Tankut, he is no longer the same. Now, he is an attractive man with a great personality and a restaurant owner. When Pelin begs for his forgiveness so he can get rid of the curse, he realizes that the time has come to carry out his sweet revenge.

OTHER TITLES PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED

In addition to the three newly acquired titles, Divinity began promoting others it had already acquired, such as Surprise Marriage (Hangimiz Sevmedik), a romantic series starring the popular Can Yaman and distributed internationally by Mistco. The sale had already been announced at the end of last year.

Can Yaman also returns twice to the screen of Divinity, which will also premiere Dolunay, from Global Agency.

Another premiere will be Love Trap (Afili Aşk in Turkish), a romantic comedy distributed by Kanal D International. Produced by ARC Film, the series premiered in Turkey in June 2019 to great success, taking Kanal D to the top of the ratings. Her purchase had been known in July.
