Same as every year, Mipcom presented The Wit’s Fresh TV Fiction conference, this time, virtually. The company’s selection for this year features titles from Latin America, Spain and Turkey.
The international consulting firm The Wit revealed in virtual format its selection of the “freshest” fictions on the market as part of Mipcom Online+.
Under the theme “We may survive”, this year’s selection is marked by current affairs and resilience, many real events and series based on books.
As for the Hispanic world, the list had only two mentions: Spanish series Veneno (Atresmedia International) and the US Hispanic series Armas de Mujer, from NBCUniversal, which will air as a Peacock original.
From Brazil, meanwhile, End, from Globo Studios, also made the cut.
And within a very European list, Turkey also stood out with three series: The Red Room (Eccho Rights), The Agency (Madd Entertainment) and Interrupted (Inter Medya).
