The Parrot Analytics ranking of the most demanded series in the country is completely dominated by content for kids and teens, occupying eight of the ten spots on the list. On the digital side, Netflix series Narcos and Money Heist stand out as the only Hispanic titles.

Seeking to entertain the little ones in times of confinement, Venezuelan families turned to children’s content, notoriously increasing their demand.

Series for kids and teens occupied eight of the ten spots in the Parrot Analytics ranking of most demanded series in Venezuela in the week of July 6 to 12.

The list is led by Peppa Pig, with a demand 21.4 times greater than the average series, followed by Naruto with 20.2 times more demand. The podium is closed by the first production for adults in the ranking: the Netflix series, Dark, with 18.8 times more demand.

Fourth is PAW Patrol (17.5x), followed by Teen Titans (17.2x) and The 100 (16.1x), the second and only other adult series on the list.

In seventh place comes Dragon Ball Super with 15.7 times more demand, followed by Titans (15.3x), El Payaso Plim Plim (15.1x) and El chavo del ocho (15.1x).

Dark and Titans also lead the list of the most demanded digital series in the country, with Money Heist (14.4x) and Narcos (13x) in third and fourth place respectively, also being the only Hispanic productions in the ranking.

In fifth place is Stranger Things (10.1x), followed by The Umbrella Academy (8.1x), which has just released the trailer for its second season; and 13 Reasons Why (8x), all from Netflix.

Closing the digital list are She-Ra and the Princess of Power in eighth place (7.8x), Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale in ninth (7.5x) and Anne with an E in tenth (7.4x).
