The network devoted to the best of Turkish drama has reached a new territory in Latin America with its launch on the Panamanian cable operator.
Thema America, a Canal+ company, announced today that Kanal D Drama has expanded its presence in Panama through Cable Onda, the coutry’s leading provider of cable TV services.
Kanal D Drama is the product of a partnership between Thema, a Canal+ Group company, and Kanal D International, one of the largest producers and distributors of Turkish dramas worldwide.
“Turkish content has quickly become the favourite of the Latin American audience. This agreement with Cable Onda underscores the great interest of Latin America's main operators in having a catalog of the best Turkish dramas available in the market,” said Patrick Rivet, CEO of Thema America.

Kanal D Drama offers over 1,500 hours of award-winning Turkish dramas and series, universal stories with captivating characters and fascinating places. Among the titles that stand out and that will be available to Cable Onda subscribers are: Secretos Prohibidos, Tormenta de Pasiones, Honor y Respeto, and the very successful ¿Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagul?, among others.
Kanal D Drama was launched in 2018 and is now available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. Thema America holds all available digital rights for this channel, including any OTT service or cable, satellite, or independent operator system.
Kanal D Drama can be seen on Cable Onda in Panama on channels 460 SD and 1460 HD.
