Based in Miami, the executive will oversee the company’s operations team, responsible for project management; translation; production; audio and coordinating technical needs and developments with engineering.
“I am pleased to announce that Ben Ferguson, a very seasoned industry professional, has joined The Kitchen team and will serve as VP Operations, based in our Miami headquarters,” Ken Lorber, President/CEO of The Kitchen International explained.
Originally from London, where he began his media career, Ben has been heavily involved in the Los Angeles industry for past five years. He comes to The Kitchen with vast experience in all facets of localization; project management; business development and digital media.
Ben will oversee the Miami-based operations team, with responsibilities that include: project management; translation; production; audio and coordinating technical needs and developments with Engineering. He will also help to identify and implement new workflows that will enhance the studios’ overall impact nationally and internationally.
Most recently, Ben has held senior positions at Post Haste Digital in Los Angeles as well as Deluxe and Technicolor, in LA and London, overseeing teams that worked exclusively for some of the major Hollywood studios. He has vast experience in localization working in multiple languages across the globe. Ben also was a lead for business development amongst the locally based motion picture studios.
