Sebastián Ortega, executive producer of Underground Producciones, confirmed the hit Argentine series is returning with a fourth season.
Ended this past Tuesday to notable ratings, Argentine series El Marginal is coming back with a fourth season.
The news was confirmed by Sebastián Ortega, executive producer of Underground Produccione, in an interview on a special show aired on TV Publica and hosted by Diego Scott.
The series renewal comes as no surprise given its last season’s notable success in Argentina and the international market on Netflix.
In an interview with ttvnews this past July, Pablo Culell, manager of Underground, had said they were already working on a fourth season.
The third season ended with a cliffhanger, designed to continue the story with another season.
The new episodes will be produced by Underground.
The first two seasons aired on TV Publica in Argentina and on Netflix, which will premiere the third one on September 27.
It’s distributed internationally by Dori Media Distribution, which sold its adaptation rights to Telemundo (The Inmate).
