La Caza.Monteperdido and La víctima número 8 stand out among the nominees for the Prix Europa awards, which honor the best contents from European public broadcasters.
The organization of the Prix Europa awards, which honor the best contents from European public broadcasters, announced the nominees for its 2019 edition.
And among the chosen titles are four Spanish productions: two fictions, a digital project and a news piece.
Among the fictions are RTVE’s La Caza.Monteperdido, produced by DLO Producciones, nominated in the TV Fiction category.
The thriller, which was renewed for a second season titled La caza. Tramuntana, will compete against another 19 European productions as the only Spanish title.
The nomination joins the recent award won at the Vitoria Television Festival, the Premio FesTVal, and the four nominations for the Iris Awards.
In addition, La victima numero 8 is one of the 16 nominees in the Television category. Produced by The Mediapro Studio and aired on ETB and Telemadrid, the series is now available on Netflix.
In the digital content category, Sin huella, an interactive project by RTVE, produced by RTVE.es’ lab, stars Irene Escolar and reflects upon everyone’s responsibility to reduce our own carbon footprint.
Lastly, the News category includes the series 18 años y un día from the Cronicas show, along with another 21 European productions.
