Autentic will arrive at Mipcom 2026 with 67 hours of new factual content spanning current affairs, nature, history, science, factual entertainment and travel.

The catalog explores topics including artificial intelligence, geopolitical shifts, scientific advances and environmental challenges, while significantly expanding its premium nature and wildlife offering.
“It is an ambitious and highly relevant catalog, with strong potential across different markets and platforms,” said Mirjam Strasser, Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Autentic. “From global current affairs to spectacular wildlife and character-driven stories, the slate brings together distinctive programs designed to appeal to international audiences.”
Among the key current affairs titles is AI – Humanity’s Final Invention? (52’), produced by BR, which examines the evolution of artificial intelligence and brings together some of the industry’s most influential figures to explore the technology’s impact and the degree of control humanity can retain over it.
The slate also includes Ukraine’s Wartime Boom (2 x 52’), from Hoferichter & Jacobs, which focuses on Ukraine’s reconstruction process as the war continues.
Expanding the wildlife offering
Autentic is placing a particular focus on strengthening its nature catalog with productions from Terra Mater Studios and other international producers.
Featured titles include Willow – Secret Diary of a Mountain Lion (52’), from Rhythm Productions, WNET Group and Terra Mater Studios, which reconstructs the life of a mountain lion through footage captured over a decade using cameras installed in the wild.

In historical factual, Autentic will present Secrets of Cold War Ruins (6 x 45’), produced by Go Button Media in partnership with Autentic. The series explores former military bases, bunkers and infrastructure linked to the Cold War.
The slate also features Olof Palme – Vision of a Just World (52’), an Autentic production about the former Swedish prime minister and his political legacy.
In science and technology, the company will showcase new original productions including Ecosystems Unraveled: The Keystone Effect (52’), co-produced with DBcom, and The Secret Lives of Parasites (52’). The selection is rounded out by The Cloning Revolution (52’), All About Hair (52’), Coffee vs. Climate Change (52’), new episodes of Good News from Planet Earth and Home from Space (2 x 52’), among other titles.

The People & Places offering includes three productions focused on Pakistan and the Karakoram region: Pakistan Express(2 x 52’), Born to Climb: Pakistan’s Female Mountaineers (45’) and Tragedy on Laila Peak: Death of an Olympic Champion (52’), the latter produced by Autentic and ServusTV.
