The Escape, Number One Fan, Disaster Decoded, Iran’s Most Wanted, Elevator Pitch and Who Wants to Start? lead the global content distributor’s new slate.

Keshet International (KI) is heading to Mipcom 2026 with new scripted, factual and format slates led by six standout titles: gripping action thriller The Escape and psychological drama Number One Fan; timely factual shows Disaster Decoded and Iran’s Most Wanted; and two new entertainment formats, Elevator Pitch and Who Wants to Start?.

Salomé Peillon, KI’s Acting MD of Distribution, says: “We’re heading to Mipcom with a slate of distinctive titles that we believe have real international potential. The Escape is a visually stunning, addictive thriller and Number One Fan is totally bingeable, while Disaster Decoded delivers extraordinary stories on an epic scale, and Iran’s Most Wanted from UVDA offers truly remarkable access to a world rarely seen on screen. On the formats side, Elevator Pitch has an irresistible, instantly understandable reality hook, while Who Wants to Start? turns celebrity conversation into something fresh, revealing and hugely relatable. They’re all very different shows, but they all have what we’re looking for: a great idea, a clear proposition and the ability to cut through.”

At the forefront of KI’s scripted offering is The Escape (8×60’), a gripping action thriller set deep in the Colombian jungle that follows Yoel (Ido Tako), the young heir to a brutal ultra-Orthodox cult, who escapes only to leave his wife and son behind. Desperate to rescue them, he joins forces with Carmeli (Yehuda Levi), a troubled search-and-rescue operative, but their mission draws them into an increasingly dangerous conflict involving the cult’s ruthless leader (Mark Ivanir) and its alliance with a powerful drug cartel. Ultimately, Yoel must return to the very world he escaped and attempt to destroy it from within. Filmed in Colombia, Georgia and Israel by Reisdor Productions and SE Film Productions for Keshet 12.

Joining The Escape on KI’s scripted slate is psychological thriller Number One Fan (4×60’), produced by Clapperboard Productions for 5 in the UK. The series stars Jill Halfpenny as beloved television presenter Lucy Logan, whose encounter with an apparently devoted fan (Sally Lindsay) develops into a dark and increasingly personal campaign of revenge. The four-parter recently debuted to strong ratings (28-day viewing: 3.4M Brits, 10.1% share), positive reviews and viewer feedback.

Leading KI’s factual slate is Disaster Decoded (10×60’), a major new documentary series produced by Perpetual Entertainment for Radial Entertainment. Most disaster series ask what happened. Disaster Decoded asks what changed. Through extraordinary archive, expert analysis and firsthand testimony, the series uncovers the decisions, failures and hard-won lessons behind catastrophes including the Boxing Day Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and MH370—and reveals how they transformed our understanding of risk, safety and survival.

Alongside it, KI will launch Iran’s Most Wanted (1×60’), an extraordinary new documentary from UVDA, Keshet 12’s award-winning investigative current affairs programme, authored by acclaimed journalist and award-winning filmmaker Itai Anghel. Renowned for reporting from some of the world’s most dangerous conflict zones, Anghel gains exceptional frontline access to Paiman, a Kurdish-Iranian guerrilla commander leading PJAK, an armed resistance group fighting the Iranian regime. Filmed amid secret mountain tunnel networks and communities living under constant threat, Iran’s Most Wanted offers a rare and deeply human perspective on resistance, courage and survival at a moment of profound significance for Iran and the wider region.

Heading KI’s formats slate are two new entertainment formats. First up is Elevator Pitch, a high-stakes business reality competition currently premiering in Brazil on Record News. Built around one of the simplest and most universally understood challenges in business — the elevator pitch — entrepreneurs have just 60 seconds to convince a panel of successful business Titans that their idea deserves to rise. Those who impress progress through increasingly demanding challenges, developing their business ideas along the way with mentorship and guidance from the Titans. With every stage, the pressure builds, the pitches evolve and the stakes get higher, as the strongest contenders compete for a potentially life-changing prize. Fast, visual and instantly understandable, Elevator Pitch turns the world’s shortest business presentation into a primetime entertainment event.

Also taking centre stage is Who Wants to Start? a new celebrity entertainment format created and hosted by popular TV presenter Assi Azar for Keshet 12. Each episode brings together five well-known personalities connected by a relatable life experience — from anxiety and ageing to a life crisis or addiction — who arrive with no preparation and no idea who else will be joining them. Through revealing prompts hidden inside sealed envelopes and enlightening mini-games, an entertaining group encounter develops into a candid, emotional conversation filled vulnerability, unexpected connections, and sometimes, humor. Produced by Baron Productions, Who Wants to Start? will premiere in primetime on Keshet 12, Israel’s most watched TV channel, in October.

Recently re-ordered for a second season in Germany by RTL from Tresor Productions, KI will also re-present Keshet 12’s primetime quiz format Domination, in which contestants must do more than answer questions correctly to beat a nation: they must decide which sections of the population they believe they can outsmart. Drawing on answers gathered from thousands of members of the public, the game combines trivia with strategy as contestants attempt to beat the average knowledge of different groups on their way to the grand prize.

Rounding out the formats slate is Rising Star: Runway to Eurovision, the latest evolution of Keshet 12’s hit talent format, soon to enter its 13th season. Building on Israel’s recent Eurovision successes — including discovering 2018 winner Netta— the format transforms the search for a country’s Eurovision representative into a national television journey, allowing audiences to discover, follow and choose the artist they want to send to the world’s biggest music stage.

KI’s scripted slate also includes Keshet 12’s crime thriller Murder at the Dead Sea (7×60’), a locked-room murder mystery drama, where rookie police officer Revi Shem Tov (Niv Sultan) finds herself trapped with ten suspects following the apparent suicide of a rising pop star.

KI is also bringing two Keshet 12 scripted formats to Mipcom. Created by International Emmy-winning writer and comedian Adir Miller, comedy-drama Reset follows a disillusioned 50-year-old who blows up his carefully constructed life after receiving a terminal diagnosis — only to discover that the diagnosis was wrong. Romantic comedy format Mythological Ex, created by Sigal Avin and recently adapted by Keshet Germany for ZDF in Germany as My Ex, centers on a hopeless romantic who is told by a fortune teller that she has already met her soulmate, sending her on a hilarious and heartfelt journey back through her exes.

Joining KI’s factual slate is Pirates of Antiquities (10×60’), an archaeological true-crime series produced by Ananey Studios for KAN 11. With two further seasons coming soon, the series enters the lucrative and dangerous black market of stolen antiquities, following investigators racing against looters, dealers and collectors to recover priceless pieces of history.

Returning factual brands include the ninth season of Woodcut Media’s long-running true-crime series World’s Most Evil Killers (20×60’) for Sky Crime, and Casualty 24/7 (6×60’), with the seventh season of Crackit Productions’ fly-on-the-wall medical series returning to the frontline of one of the UK’s busiest emergency departments.

Keshet International will present its new slate to buyers from its stand located at R7:K22 at Mipcom 2026 in Cannes, 12–15 October.
