The TelevisaUnivision telenovela, produced by Lucero Suárez and starring Eva Cedeño and Mario Morán, will also be available on ViX the day after its TV premiere.

Univision has announced the premiere of Sabor a ti, TelevisaUnivision’s latest original production, for Monday, September 28 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. Episodes will be available on ViX the day after their television broadcast.

Produced by Lucero Suárez, the telenovela stars Eva Cedeño and Mario Morán, alongside Eduardo Santamarina, Erika Buenfil, César Évora, Nuria Bages, Juan Diego Covarrubias, Alejandro Ibarra, Rodrigo Vidal, Lisset, Arturo Carmona and other cast members.

Set against the world of wine, the story follows an agronomist, a winemaker and a vineyard worker whose lives become intertwined through romance, family rivalries and long-held secrets.

Cedeño plays Ángela Herrera, an agricultural engineer with a passion for wine. After her grandmother’s death, she decides to remain in Montealegre to uncover the secret behind El Embrujo, a wine produced by Vicente Sarmiento, played by César Évora. Her investigation leads her to a secret family formula and into a world shaped by ambition, rivalries and hidden interests.

Sabor a ti is an original story by José Ignacio Valenzuela, adapted by Lucero Suárez and José Rubén Núñez. Héctor “El Oso” Márquez and Carlos Santos serve as scene directors.

The production began its rollout in Mexico, where it premiered on las estrellas on September 21. Its Univision launch now extends the title’s reach to the U.S. Hispanic market, with subsequent availability on ViX.
